Text messages from your contractor are opt-in. This page explains exactly what you are agreeing to.
What you will receive. Project updates from your contractor: a proposal or contract to review, a change order awaiting your decision, a schedule change, an invoice or a payment receipt, and replies to messages you send. Nothing is marketing.
How often. Only when something happens on your project — typically a handful of messages a month, and none at all in a quiet week.
Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier, not your contractor, sets those.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and you will receive no further texts. You will get one confirmation and then nothing. Email still works, and everything is always in your portal.
How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, or contact your contractor’s office directly — their phone and email are in your portal header.
Giving consent. You give consent by ticking the box in your portal, or by telling your contractor’s office in writing. Consent is never a condition of the work being done.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
